Laird’s® 12 Year Old Rare Apple Brandy
Crafted at the countrys oldest distillery,
LAIRDS APPLEJACK
is a venerable American brandy as old as the Republic itself. It
is made from tree-ripened apples that are naturally fermented in
large, 20,000-gallon oak vats. The impressively pure brandy is double-distilled
and then aged a minimum of 4 years in American white oak barrels.
The distillerys crowning achievement
is undoubtedly LAIRDS
12 YEAR OLD RARE APPLE BRANDY, a sumptuous
spirit worthy of international recognition and acclaim. Distilled
from a blend of five varieties of American apples, the brandy is
aged in American white oak barrels for a minimum of 12 years.
This classic American brandy is handcrafted
in extremely limited quantity. It has an alluring, expansive bouquet
laced with the aromas of fresh fruit. The luscious palate is dominated
by the flavors of ripe apples and vanilla that slowly taper off
into a lingering, flavorful finish.
Lairds 12 Year Old Apple Brandy is
a triumphant
accomplishment. It compares favorably with the finest
Calvados from Normandy costing 2-3 times as much.
Every bottle of 88 proof brandy is hand-filled and inscribed with a batch number, bottling date and bottle number.
This apple brandy is more spirited and exuberant than its French counterpart, Calvados, which brings to mind the phrase, viva la difference!
