Hardy Noces d'Or CognacHardy® Noces d’Or Cognac
The esteemed cognac house of A. Hardy was
founded in 1863, and within a decade became one
of the preeminent brandy distillers in Europe. Their
sales were helped in no small measure by Czar
Nicholas II, who regularly served Hardy Cognac de l’Alliance at all royal functions, formal or not.

Despite its rapid rise in popularity, A. Hardy began bottling their extraordinary brandies for the first time shortly after World War II. While the limelight shines brightly on all of the Hardy cognacs, it is the legendary HARDY NOCES D’OR COGNAC that deservedly draws much of the attention.

Introduced in 1946 to commemorate the 50th wedding anniversary of Armand Hardy, handcrafted Noces d’Or is a Tres Ancienne Grande Champagne cognac, meaning it is a blend of very old brandies, all of which were double-distilled entirely from grapes grown in the Grande Champagne district of Cognac. The vintage, barrel-matured brandies used in its blend average in age an extraordinary 50 years.

Hardy Noces d’Or Cognac is a magnificent brandy. It has a lustrous, deep copper color and a firm, lightweight body. The expansive bouquet features an array of savory aromas, including ripe fruit, spice, honey and toasted oak. The brandy has a remarkably lush, sophisticated palate and a warm, lingering finish.
