Crafted in St. Croix, this limited production, handcrafted rum is made from a blend of triple-distilled rums that are aged between 5 and 12 years in American oak bourbon barrels. After blending, the rum is placed in new, American white oak casks for secondary aging, the insides of which are heavily charred. This extended aging allows the elements of the blend to “marry” and fully integrate. No batch is bottled until a panel of tasters deems the rum ready for release.

The result of the “Double Casking” can be perceived in every aspect of the rum’s character. It has a lustrous, tawny red color and a trim, compact body. Cruzan Single Barrel Estate Rum is impressively similar to an aged brandy with rum notes on the palate and finish.
