Cruzan®
Rum Cream
Its hard to imagine a product that
has more marketable attributes and contemporary appeal than CRUZAN
RUM CREAM. In fact, its name handily
explains why the liqueur has found a niche. It enjoys great name
recognition and rums are blistering hot. Because cream liqueurs
are most comparable to desserts in a bottle, they are a small indulgence
that we afford ourselves. This is one liqueur earmarked for greatness.
Cruzan Rum Cream is produced in Ireland
with dairy-fresh Irish cream, caramel and vanilla. The Cruzan light
rum used in the liqueur is a blend of triple-distilled rums, aged
2 to 3 years in oak bourbon barrels and filtered through activated
charcoal.
The Cruzan Rum Cream has a light coffee
color and a compact, creamy bouquet of vanilla, cream and toffee.
It has a medium body that immediately coats the palate with the
prominent flavors of caramel, vanilla and dairy fresh cream. The
rum shines through in the lingering finish. The liqueur is marketed
at 34 proof.
To get the most out of the experience, sample
Cruzan Rum Cream neat with a slight chill, or with the addition
of ice. The liqueur is easy to drink and devoid of the cloying finish
that plague some other cream liqueurs. It is also delectable when
added to coffee, mixed with Tia Maria, amaretto, or a score of other
complementary flavors.
